Health Day

On September 14, the Health Day was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business.

It is traditional for Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University to hold festive sports events at the beginning of the academic year. This is a great opportunity to meet freshmen, chat in a relaxed atmosphere and get to know each other better.

On September 14, teachers and students of the Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business went to nature to recharge with positive energy.

The guests of honor came to the holiday, such as: Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work of LTSNU Oleksandr Babichev and the chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization Volodymyr Moroz. They congratulated the student youth and wished to have an interesting time.

On this day, a traditional competition of Ukrainian dishes took place. Students creatively presented the specialties of the Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business and the dishes they prepared. According to the results of the competition, the first place was taken by the students majoring in “Economics”, the second place went to the representatives of the specialty “Finance, Banking and Insurance”, and the third place was taken by the students majoring in “Management”. The winners were awarded with valuable gifts, which were provided by the Primary Trade Union Organization of the university.

The main highlight of this day was the presentation of the anthem of the Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business. The authors of the text are Yelyzaveta Bezpala and Valeria Tkachenko, and the composer is Artur Onishchenko. These students made a lot of efforts to ensure that on September 14 the main song of the Institute sounded festively and united the student youth.

Sports events organized by the Sports Club of the university also became part of the holiday. Students participated in relay races, competitions and various games.

The Health Day took place after a long break. A busy academic year is ahead, filled with interesting events and new victories.
