Participation in the discussion of the development strategy of the financial sector

Anna Bairachna, assistant of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Banking took part in the discussion of the strategy for the development of the financial sector.

In June 2021, the National Bank of Ukraine initiated the start of work on the National Strategy for the Development of Financial Literacy until 2025. Within the framework of the Interdepartmental Working Group, which includes six ministries and three financial sector regulators, the structure and main provisions of the document have been agreed. Now public discussion of the draft Strategy continues with various groups of experts.

Anna Bairachna, assistant of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Banking, was invited to participate in the expert discussion. She joined the expert group “Financial Literacy. Education”.

On September 03, an online meeting of the expert group was held, during which the main aspects of the National Strategy for the Development of Financial Literacy until 2025 were presented. The participants reviewed the current state of financial literacy in Ukraine, the activities of the National Bank in the field of financial literacy, strategic directions and goals of the National Strategy for the Development of Financial Literacy in 2025 in areas of cooperation with educational institutions.

Based on the results of the discussion, relevant materials were developed that will be used in the further activities of the Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business.
