Open Basketball Cup

The basketball team of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University won the Open Basketball Cup.

On September 4, 2021, the Open Basketball Cup was held, dedicated to the 151st anniversary of the city of Konstiantynivka. This autumn day brought together 7 teams of different ages from Donetsk region and a team from Luhansk region, which was represented by athletes of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

As a result of the round robin system of competitions, our team took the first place. The second place was won by the Druzhkivka team, and the third one was taken by the local team “Berizka”. Teams have been awarded medals, cups and monetary awards.

The players of our team express their gratitude to the organizers for the invitation to take part in the tournament and the celebration of the City Day.
