Participation in the training

The lecturer of the Psychology Department of the ER IPP took part in the training.

Anton Nazmiev, lecturer of the Psychology Department, Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, took part in a three-day training in the city of Kyiv. The organizer of the event and further training is the Center for Mental Health and Trauma Therapy “Integration” within the project “Socio-economic support for the reintegration of veterans of the conflict in eastern Ukraine and their families”, which is being implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Representative Office in Ukraine, with financial the support of the European Union.

Within this project, a course of specialized psychotherapeutic training for psychologists was held, where the participants learned that the project was being transferred from a pilot to a permanent one for 10 months, they would work with ATO and OOS veterans, as well as their family members, and considered trauma focused therapy and counseling methods. This was the first event in a busy trainings cycle.

In September, the implementation of the project will begin, where psychologists will conduct a cycle of psychoeducational trainings for demobilized military personnel and their families, engage in psychological therapy and counseling therapeutic groups.
