Victory in the Ukrainian 3×3 Basketball Championship

The team of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University won the qualifying stage of the Ukrainian 3×3 Basketball Championship.

On August 7, 2021, Donbas Street Cup – the qualifying round of the Ukrainian 3×3 Basketball Championship took place in the city of Kramatorsk. Teams from Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Poltava and Dnipro regions competed for the Cup.

Basketball players of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University passed the group stage without a single defeat. There were four games and four wins!

In the semifinals, our team played against the team “Liman”. The result was a victory with a score of 11: 3 in our favor. In a tense struggle in the final our team met with a team from Dnipro and won with a score of 8:6.

Athletes from Starobilsk were awarded with diplomas, monetary awards and memorable gifts from sponsors of the Donbas Street Cup.

Ahead of our team is another qualifying tournament in Kharkiv on 08/21/2021. and the Superfinal of the Ukrainian Streetball League in basketball 3×3. We wish the athletes strength, vigor and victories!
