“Scholarship”: victories of economists and marketers
3.8.2021
Business support for social projects, and especially support for the scientific activities of student youth, is one of the defining features of civilized entrepreneurship.
Modernity proves that despite the economic and political turmoil, in the conditions of real research and development, domestic business is already starting the actual production of such projects.
A clear confirmation of such socially responsible entrepreneurship is the All-Ukrainian grant project “Scholarship in Ukraine”, the final of the VII competition of which took place on July 27 in Dnipro city. This is an analogue of the prestigious US Scholarship competition, which is jointly carried out by grants from American business and leading universities (similar projects are also being carried out in the countries of the European Union).
The final of the VII competition “Scholarship in Ukraine” became the most ambitious for all the previous ones, both in the number of nominations (there are already four of them, which covered all areas of modern entrepreneurship), and in the number of participants (out of the sixty to seventy entries sent by students of higher educational institutions of all regions of the country for each nomination, the first jury selected three works for the final), both by the number of sponsors (these are well-known business structures of the national economy), and by the level of coverage of the project by national electronic and print media.
The organizer-title sponsor of this project is the well-known innovative company of Ukraine “CYBER HARK” (head – A. Bernatskyi), the leading executive manager – Yu. Valueva.
For the third time, the Department of Economics, Marketing and Entrepreneurship of LTSNU took part in the “Scholarship in Ukraine” competition (in the VII competition – actively; this year, nine works of students and undergraduates in all four nominations were selected for presentation).
Among the winners, the I Degree Diploma and the Certificate “15,000 UAH for Training” in the nomination “New Car VS Used Car: Advantages and Disadvantages in Choosing a Vehicle” was won by a second-year student majoring in “Economics” R. Kovalov. Since he studies under the state order, the organizers of the project are ready to pay for his training in any other specialty or form (the department develops training options for this absolute winner, using a competition grant under the academic mobility program in leading foreign or domestic higher education institutions). Scientific adviser of R. Kovalov – Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor N. Chebotarova.
In the nomination “How COVID-19 Affected Internet Marketing”, the winner of the VII “Scholarship in Ukraine” competition, master’s student majorig in “Marketing” V. Loburenko, received a III Degree Diploma and a coupon for 4000 UAH for the purchase of any equipment in any COMFY store in Ukraine. The scientific adviser of V. Loburenko – Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor G. Shtapauk.
For such a fruitful work of the Department of Economics, Marketing and Entrepreneurship, our university, among the best higher educational institutions of Ukraine, received a Certificate of an active participant in the social project “Scholarship in Ukraine”. It is the level of the other two best participants in the competition: Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and the University of Customs and Finance.
