Students of the ER IPES began training camp in handball to participate in the European Championship-2021.
The coronavirus pandemic has negatively impacted the entire handball season. It led to changes in the training calendar, postponements or cancellation of camps. Despite this, the youth team of Ukraine got together and there is time and proper conditions to prepare for the Championship.
So, from July 20, training camps began for the participants of the European Championship-2021, which will be held on August 9-15 in South Macedonia in Skopje. Trainings are held in the village of Andriivka, Zaporizhzhia region.
It is pleasant to note that the Ukrainian national team included three students of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports. Among them: Danylo Zorkin – a second-year student majoring in “Physical Culture. Sports” and first-year students Mykyta Maiboroda (Secondary Education. Physical Culture) and Dmytrp Redkin (Physical Culture. Sports).
It should be noted that two students of the ER IPES (Oleksandr Kovalchuk and Danylo Osadchyi) received the title of “Master of Sports of Ukraine in handball”. By the way, handball athletes from different regions of Ukraine study at our university, namely – Zaporizhzhia, Skvir (Kyiv region), Melitopol, Ternovka (Dnepropetrovsk region) and others.
