VII All-Ukrainian Summer School “AIRo” – 2021

On July 12-16, teachers of the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology took part in the work of the VII All-Ukrainian Summer School “AIRo” – 2021.

On July 12-16, 2021, teachers of the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology, program guarantor of the specialty 014 Secondary education. Language and literature (English) Svitlana Shekhavtsova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, and program guarantor of the specialty 014 Secondary education. Language and literature (German) Olena Byndas, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department, took part in the work of VII All-Ukrainian Summer School “AIRo” –  2021 (on the basis of the WTO “Burevisnyk” Lazurne, Kherson region).

The organizer was the Academy of Innovative Development of Education with the support of the Department of Pedagogy, Psychology and Educational Management named after Prof. E. Petukhov of Kherson State University.

The participants of the Summer School were representatives of various regions of Ukraine, among them the employees of in-service pedagogical institutions, heads, methodologists, teachers, as well as teachers of higher educational institutions.

The program of the Summer School addressed the issues of improving the content of the educational process in educational institutions, optimizing the structure and organizational forms of educational activities, application of innovative informational educational technologies in the educational process, implementation of interactive teaching methods, inclusion, peculiarities of organization of inclusive education, international trends of STEM-education, comparison of features of world systems STEM, STEAM, STREAM, and more.

During the training, participants actively discussed topical issues, spoke about their views on the use of innovations in education, shared experiences and useful tips.

During the training courses, master classes and trainings, the participants of the school studied and taught each other, made discoveries and self-improved. We discussed the creation of joint projects, thanks to which, together we can help students to be happy in learning and successful in the adult life. After the event, the participants were awarded certificates of further training.
