On July 1, entrance exams began at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

Only those categories of applicants who are granted such a right by the Admission Rules take part in the entrance exams. Among them are combatants who have defended and continue to defend the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

One of the first to arrive at the admissions committee were military personnel participating in hostilities to pass entrance exams and enter the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology. Strong and friendly relations have been established with various parts of the military personnel at the ER IPP since 2014. The Institute has become a second home for our defenders: they participate in all educational, scientific and sociocultural events; they visit almost every day, meet with students, talk about their small homeland, traditions and customs, instilling in them a respectful and tolerant attitude towards the diversity of cultural traditions in Ukraine, forming a positive image of the defender of the Motherland.

Choosing our University, the defenders take into account its high reputation, powerful educational and scientific potential, courage and resilience during the Russian aggression.

Higher education for military personnel is not only a confident future, but also a means of preventing or eliminating negative psychological states, personal deformations that can develop in them as a result of their constant stay in an atmosphere of excessive security, secrecy and regime of vital activity.

Together we are convinced that only highly educated people with a well-formed scientific outlook, creative thinking, and the ability to quickly make decisions in non-standard situations will be able to build a new Ukraine. People who have proven their devotion to the Motherland in the struggle for its independence. These are, first of all, participants in the hostilities!

Thank you for your heroic contribution to upholding the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine. For all of us, teachers and students, you are a vivid example of courage, perseverance, love for the Motherland, high moral qualities. We believe that the cooperation of teachers and the army will become a solid foundation for victory!
