Success of our basketball players

The team of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University successfully performed in the semifinals of the Ukrainian Basketball Championship 3×3.

The qualifying round of the semi-final of the Ukrainian Basketball Championship 3×3 has started. The team of our university has already successfully played 3 games, in which it has shown its athletic abilities.

So, on May 22, 2021, a game was held in Kramatorsk as part of the Donbas Street Cup. Eight teams from different cities of Ukraine took part in the competition. According to the results, our team took the II prize.

On June 5, the 13th season of the USL 3×3 started. 38 teams from Poltava, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Kremenchug, Kamianskyi, Myrgorod, Starobilsk took part in the tournament “BVS Cup”. According to the results, the team of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took the 4th place, losing to the Poltava team “V.V.” with a score of 13:15.

On June 19, the university team played in the city of Bakhmut in the qualifying stage of the USL 3×3 “Bakhmut Streetball Cup”. The tournament was attended by 26 teams from Bakhmut, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Kramatorsk, Starobilsk, Severodonetsk, Toretsk. This time the guys of our HEI took the 5th place.

The team of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University has four more trips ahead. Therefore, we wish the athletes and their coach Evgen Reshetilo success and further victories!
