The Acting Rector Vitalii Kurylo took part in the programs on TV channels in the Luhansk region.

On June 23, 2021, the Acting Rector Vitalii Kurylo took part in the filming of programs on the TV channels Irta FAX and Donbas Online.

During the broadcast on the TV channel “Irta FAX” in the program “Important People”, the presenter talked about the forced evacuation of the university to Starobilsk, the change of the legal address to Rubizhne, the admission campaign, as well as the plans that the acting rector sets himself and the university staff for the new academic year. “The university cannot set itself any immediate revolutionary tasks. We are gradually undergoing long-term reforms that take into account all modern trends. We need to plan at least 4 years in advance. The main task for the entire team of our university is to provide students with high-quality knowledge, with which they will subsequently find a competitive profession. Before entering the HEI, I recommend that all applicants learn about its activities, find out what they teach in it and form their own impressionˮ.

Vitalii Semenovych announced a partial relocation of structural divisions and a change in the legal address of the university from Starobilsk to Rubizhne. “We are transferring the legal address and management center of the university to Rubizhne, where there is better logistics with the regional center, favorable transport links and favorable conditions for overcoming social needs (premises and places for dormitories)”. Within the project “Intensification of Influence of Teachers of Luhansk Region on the Processes of Reconciliation and Peace-Building”, the university premises are being reconstructed, on the basis of which it is planned to place the main building of the HEI.

Taking part in the filming of the program of “Donbas PRIMEˮ, the chairman of the Academic Council spoke about the admission campaign in 2021, the organization of the work of the admission committee, demanded specialties, and the training of military personnel at our university. So, Vitalii Semenovych noted: “Due to the epidemiological situation, the work of the admission committee will not change at all, because today the admission of applicants to Ukraine is carried out in such a way that the presence of the applicant is not necessary. You can submit documents onlineˮ.

On March 1, 2021, our higher education institution celebrated its 100th anniversary. The university staff actively held various events dedicated to this outstanding date. However, through quarantine, the holiday events were delayed. In an interview, Vitalii Semenovych told television and radio viewers that the celebration will take place at the end of September 2021 in the city of Rubizhne. “We hope that the epidemiological situation will make it possible to hold a good, high-quality holiday. There is a corresponding resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the celebration of the 100th anniversary of our university, there is a corresponding resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers also on the celebration, an approved action plan by the Cabinet of Ministers and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and an organizing committee for the celebration of the event. Therefore, we hope to serve our holiday with dignityˮ.
