Students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages joined the online webinar, which focused on internship and volunteer opportunities at the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine.
In order to actively involve applicants from the Foreign Languages Faculty in international project activities at the department were invited students of 2-3 courses of all specialties to participate in an online webinar on internships and volunteering at the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine “Career opportunities for young people in structure of the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine”.
Speakers such as Vira Shelest, Junior Field Adviser to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Ukraine, Sofia Stryk, Human Resources Specialist for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Ukraine, and Alina Kovalenko, UNDP Communications Specialist, shared their valuable experiences with students.
Applicants learned detailed information about the possibility of internships, listened to a success story from a volunteer to a counselor at the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine. Now our applicants know with confidence what skills should be developed to increase their chances for successful selection, and also understand exactly how to become a volunteer of the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine.
The Foreign Languages Faculty thanks the unsurpassed speakers for inspiring speeches, for motivating and supporting our applicants. In turn, the applicants are focused on development in this area, the goal and objectives are set, it remains to make efforts and reach a positive result. Our students need to know more about volunteering and quality internships abroad, because we do everything possible for highly qualified students.
