The final certification

From 8 to 12 June 2021, the final certification of graduates of the educational bachelor’s degree was held at the Faculty of Natural Sciences.

The final certification of full-time and part-time graduates of the educational bachelor’s degree was held in a mixed form.

The final certification of bachelor students was preceded by significant organizational work, which was carried out by the dean’s office and teachers of the graduating departments of the faculty. Individual and group consultations were organized for graduate students, which provided them with the opportunity to better prepare for the final certification. Thanks to this, all graduates felt confident and successfully passed the certification.

Representatives of leading higher educational institutions of Ukraine, as well as heads of industrial enterprises, as representatives of employers of our future graduates, were invited as the chairmen of the certification commissions.

So, the chairman of the EC in the specialty “Secondary Education. Biology” and “Biology” were Anzhela Borisivna Chaplygina, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Zoology, H. S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University; in the specialty “Agronomy” – Oleksandr Mykhailovych Cherkasov, chief agronomist of LLC “Trading House “Agrokhim”; in the specialty “Secondary Education. Geography”- Yurii Oleksandrovych Kiselov – Doctor of Geographical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre, Uman National University of Horticulture; in the specialties “Gardening” and “Forestry” – Igor Anatoliovych Ionov – Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Head of the Department of Human Anatomy and Physiology named after Professor Ya. G. Synelnykov, H. S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University; in the specialty “Ecology” – Oksana Oleksandrivna Kucher – Candidate of Biological Sciences, Researcher of the Department of Botany and Ecology of the M.G. Kholodny Institute of Botany, NAS of Ukraine.

For applicants for education majoring in “Secondary Education. Biology”, “Biology” and “Agronomy”, the issuing certification was in the form of a written examination; for specialties “Secondary Education. Geography” and “Ecology” the exam was held in the form of an oral comprehensive exam in specialized disciplines; for the specialty “Forestry” – in the form of defense of qualifying bachelor’s works.

According to the results of the final certification exams, most of the students demonstrated a sufficient level of scientific, theoretical and methodological training in the main professional disciplines.

The members of the examination commissions listened with interest to the reports of future specialists in gardening and forestry based on the results of the prepared qualifying bachelor’s works, and the graduates, whose graduating certification was in the form of a written examination and an oral comprehensive examination in specialized disciplines, showed a sufficient level of professional training.

Thanks to the chairmen of the examination commissions for participating in the final certification of our graduates and we wish our graduates creative inspiration, implementation of professional ideas and fast career growth.
