Final certification at the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications

The Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications conducted the final state certification.
On June 8 – 9, 2021, the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications held a comprehensive examination for applicants for the I (bachelor’s) level of higher education, specialties “Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature” and “Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature. Language and Literature (English)”.
Through quarantine, the meeting of the examination committee took place in a mixed form, in online (using the Microsoft Team’s platform) and offline modes. The final certification began with a welcoming speech from the chairman of the examination committee, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Legal Linguistics and Practical Psychology of the Luhansk State University of Internal Affairs named after Ye.O. Didorenko Olha Maksymenko.
The examination committee included Dmytro Uzhchenko – Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work; Tetiana Pinchuk – Candidate of Philology, Professor, Dean of the Faculty; Margarita Kravchenko – Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor of the Department of the Ukrainian Language; Olena Lapko – Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Ukrainian Literature; Oksana Aleksieieva – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy; Lilia Okunkova – Senior Lecturer of the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology.
After passing testing in special disciplines and specialization, the higher education applicants defended simulated lessons in the Ukrainian language and literature. The examination committee noted the high level of training, the ability to analyze material, solve problematic tasks and draw conclusions.
