The comprehensive qualification exam

The Department of Production Technologies and Vocational Education held a comprehensive qualification exam.

On June 3-4, 2021, at the Department of Production Technologies and Vocational Education of the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism, a comprehensive qualification exam in the specialty and defense of diploma projects were passed by the full-time and part-time fourth-year applicants for the educational level “Bachelor” and the second-year students of the shortened training period majoring in  015 “Professional Education. Food Technologies”. 

The meeting of the examination committee was held in a mixed form, in online and offline modes. The exam began through a video conference organized by the examination committee based on the Skype platform. Welcoming remarks were made by the Director of the ER ICSTT, Ph.D., Associate Professor ViKtor Drel; Vice-rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Oleksandr Meniailenko and chairman of the examination commission of the state examination, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Volodymyr Dub.

After the identification of education applicants, participants in the online session, a member of the examination committee and head of the Department of Production Technologies and Vocational Education Viktor Burdun informed the students about the exam format and time constraints. Applicants for education moved on to completing the tasks contained in the exam tickets.

After passing the comprehensive qualification exam in writing, the education applicants began to defend their graduation projects. Thanks to the Skype platform, all participants had the opportunity to see the graphic part of the students’ graduation projects.

Projects and works of education applicants found a wide response among those present and caused a lively discussion during the defense. The members of the commission especially noted the work by Roman Andriichenko and Ioann Hrynov. At the end of the report, the students answered meaningfully the questions of the commission members and those present.

The graduates showed a high level of theoretical knowledge and practical professional training. The scope of work covers a wide range of production issues of modern food production and restaurant enterprises.
