University Administration Meeting

A meeting of the University Administration took place at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
For the first time in a long period of time, the university held a meeting of the administration with the physical presence of the administration members. Given the continued quarantine restrictions at the university, members of the administration adhered to anti-epidemic measures. Members of the rectorate – representatives of structural divisions working remotely from the basic educational institution, were present in the video communication mode.
During the administration meeting, diplomas of Doctor of Pedagogy were solemnly awarded to Associate Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogy Viktoria Stepanenko and Associate Professor of the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational and Social Institutions Tetiana Sych.
The agenda included the issues of organizing the work of the higher education institution and strategies for its further development.
The acting rector Vitalii Kurylo reported to the administration members on the situation in the university and outlined the prospects for future changes. The participants discussed issues of graduation of junior specialists and bachelors, preparation for the admission campaign in 2021, issues of university financial support, resumption of the practice of pre-professional training of applicants in 2022, etc.
The Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Dmytro Uzhchenko noted that today there is a need to make changes in educational programs in accordance with new professional standards, as well as in the procedures for ensuring the quality of educational activities and the relevant provisions regulating educational activities at the university.
Among other things, they discussed current working issues about the prospects for the activities of professional colleges as structural subdivisions within the university.
