The team of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University won the Ukrainian Powerlifting Championship.

From 19 to 25 May 2021, the Ukrainian Powerlifting Championship among students of higher education institutions took place in Kolomyia, where students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part and in a fierce struggle took 1st place on the podium.

Andrii Redko (4th year, SE.FC) in the total triathlon in the weight category up to 83 kg took the third place, having collected 585 kg in total.

Vitalii Bilozir (1st year, magistracy,  FCS) in the weight category up to 83 kg, set a record in Ukraine (in deadlift 300.5), collected 690 kg in triathlon and took the first place.

Ilia Voloshyn (4th year, FCS) in total collected 510 kg. He took the sixth place in the weight category up to 93 kg. 

Volodymyr Dubovoi (postgraduate student) in total collected 657.5 kg. In the weight category up to 93 kg, he took the second place.

Bohdan Bondarenko (3rd year, FCS) in total collected 602.5 kg. In the weight category up to 105 kg, he took the first place.

Anton Neskorodev (1st year, FCS) in total collected 600 kg. In the weight category up to 105 kg, he took the second place.

Khrystyna Leonenko (1st year, FCS) in the weight category up to 47 kg in  total collected 290 kg and took the first place.

Marina Kovaleva (1 FCS, magistracy) in total collected 602.5 kg in the weight category up to 76 kg (in total collected 347.5 kg).
