Certification of graduates of the Design Department

A comprehensive examination was held at the Design Department of the Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism. 

On May 26, a comprehensive examination for full-time and part-time students majoring in Design took place at the Design Department of the Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism. 

23 higher education applicants were admitted to the defense, 13 of them took the exam permanently in Starobilsk, and the rest joined the exam online using the Microsoft Teams platform.

The exam consisted of two parts – theoretical and practical, of which the most interesting is the practical part, where higher education applicants reflect their professional skills by performing creative work in such disciplines as “Photography”, “Drawing”, “Work in the Material”, “Typography”.

The State Commission headed by the Chairman Oleksandr Samoilenko, the head of the advertising agency “ASˮ PE “Samoilenko O. Yu.”, Starobilsk, appreciated the high level of performance of the assigned tasks before the graduates.

In the presence of Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Oleksandr Meniailenko, Deputy Director of the ER ICSTT Natalia Bykadorova, Head of the Design Department Iryna Prodan, teacher of the Design Department Natalia Diachenko, Secretary of the ER ICSTT Viktoria Savinova, envelopes were printed and examination tickets were distributed among higher education applicants.

Graduates had to answer theoretical questions and complete a practical task.

For higher education applicants majoring in “Design”, the task was to sketch the constants of the graphic complex of the corporate identity of an enterprise or organization, and for graduates majoring in “Interior Design” to arrange furniture on a perspective image.

The commission singled out the best works of graduates including Angelina Chepel, Anastasia Katrushenko, Yelyzaveta Safronenko (citizens of Belarus), and higher education applicants Veronika Nikolaenko, Daria Cherviak and Anastasia Kovalenko will receive honors degrees.
