European Aquatics Championships

Students of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports took part in the European Aquatics Championships.

The European Aquatics Championships has ended in Budapest. As part of the Ukrainian national diving team, a 2nd year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports”, Master of Sports of Ukraine, International Class, Sofia Liskun successfully performed.

In women’s synchronized diving 10m platform, Sofia Liskun together with Ksenia Bailo won bronze medals at the European Championships. This couple was the youngest in the championships.

A graduate of our higher education institution, Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine Oleksandr Gorshkovozov also showed a high result.

In men’s synchronized diving 3m springboard, he together with his teammate Oleh Kolodii took the third step of the podium.

Congratulations to athletes and their coaches, graduates of our higher education institution, honored coach of Ukraine Ilia Tseliutin and head coach of the national team of Ukraine, Merited Coach of Ukraine Tamara Tokmachova.
