Theses defense

On May 12-14, a meeting of the Dissertation Council D.29.053.01 for the defense of doctoral (candidate’s) dissertations was held under the chairmanship of Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Olena Leonidivna Karaman at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. 

The agenda included the defense of two doctoral and four master’s theses.

The central event was the defense of two doctoral dissertations by teachers of our university: Tetiana Anatoliivna Koknova “Theory and Practice of the Formation of Linguo-Methodological Competence of Future Teachers of Foreign Languages ​​in Vocational Training”, the specialty 13.00.04 – theory and methodology of vocational education; Larysa Volodymyrivna Kalchenko “Theory and Practice of Prevention of Social Orphanhood in the Territorial Community of the City”, specialty 13.00.05 – social pedagogy, uder the guidance of Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Head of the Department of Social Pedagogy of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Serhii Yakovych Kharchenko.

An equally important event was the defense of candidate dissertations by Viktoria Sergiivna Volodavchyk “Formation of Professional Mobility of Future Commodity Experts in Special Training” (specialty 13.00.04 – theory and methods of vocational education) under the leadership of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Director of the ER IPP Olena Leonidivna Karaman and Viktoria Viktorivna Yunda “Training a Future Teacher of Musical Art to Work with a Children’s Choir” (specialty 13.00.04 – theory and methods of professional education) under the leadership of Liudmyla Mykolaivna Sbitneva, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Professor of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”. 

Leading scientists of Ukraine in the field of social pedagogy and theory and methodology of vocational education were invited as opponents.

In addition to doctoral and candidate dissertations from our university, two candidate dissertations from Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University were presented for defense: Valentyna Valeriivna Pikalova “Using the GeoGebra Package as a Tool for Implementing the Concept of STEM Education in Training Future Mathematics Teachers”, and Nadiia Serhiivna Ponomareva “Computer- Oriented Methodological System of Teaching Informatics Disciplines for Future Mathematics Teachers”, submitted for the degree of candidate of pedagogical sciences in the specialty 13.00.10 – information and communication technologies in education under the leadership of Serhii Oleksiiovych Semerikov, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Professor of the Department of Informatics and Applied Mathematics of Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University.

The Specialized Academic Council and opponents recognized the relevance, scientific novelty and practical significance of dissertations, and also outlined ways for further scientific research of young scientists.
