LNU Student Won the Grand Prix

Marharyta Romanenko, LNU student won Grand Prix of the All-Ukrainian Contest in Pictorial Art which was conducted on October 21 – 23 in Uzhhorod.

The I All-Ukrainian Adalbert Erdeli Contest in Pictorial Art was conducted at Zakarpattia Art Institute. 25 students from 11 universities of Ukraine took part in the contest including our magistrands of “Fine Art” speciality of the Institute of Culture and Arts – Oleksandr Plish and Marharyta Romanenko.

The competitors had to perform the artistic painting during the plein-air which was conducted at the territory of Uzhhorod scansen. The competitive works were judged by the honorary jury chaired by the rector of Zakarpattia Art Institute Ivan Nebesnyk. The work of the student of Luhansk National University Marharyta Romanenko impressed the jury and was awarded with the Grand Prix. All participants received valuable albums, books and accessories for painting.

“We were amazed that Zakarpattia was so full of energy of famous artists, in particular, Adalbert Erdeli”, – LNU magistrands shared their impressions.
