Pre-defense of master’s theses, timed to the Days of Science at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

At the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology events, dedicated to the Days of Science at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, ​​are underway.

On April 26-27, 2021 at the Department of RGP a pre-defense of master’s theses of the 1st year master students was held, in which undergraduates presented their research and achievements in various fields of science.

This year, due to the pandemic, the defense took place remotely using the Zoom platform. More than 40 undergraduates of the Romanсe and Germanic Philology Department successfully presented their works: “014 Secondary Education. Language and Literature (English)», «014 Secondary Education. Language and Literature (French)”, “035 Philology. Language and Literature (English)», «035 Philology. Language and Literature (German)”, “035.Philology. Language and Literature (French)”.

An examination commission was formed consisting of the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​S.O. Shekhavtsova, Head of the of Romance and Germanic Philology Department O.M. Byndas and Associate Professor of Romance Germanic Philology Department L.V. Shapovalova. During the work, undergraduates answered questions, demonstrating critical thinking skills, and received appropriate recommendations for further work on master’s research.

We thank the supervisors of master’s theses who are inspired to work with master students: V.Ye. Sergeeva, N.O. Savelyeva, T.V. Stepykina, O.I. Kobzar, T.A. Коknova, О.G. Blednova, L.V. Shapovalova, О.М. Byndas and S.O. Shekhavtsova.
