Council of Young Scientists and Students

On April 28, a meeting of the Council of Young Scientists and Students of LuhanskTaras Shevchenko National University took place.

The Council of Young Scientists and Students is a permanent voluntary, collegial, self-governing public organization of students, postgraduate students, scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers not older than 35 years of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”. It was created with the aim of uniting young scientists to express their interests in the professional sphere, uniting efforts in the implementation of innovative scientific projects, the most effective use of the scientific potential of the university’s youth and solving the most important socio-economic problems. In its activities, the Council is guided by the current legislation, normative legal acts of Ukraine, the Charter of the University, resolutions of the Academic Council and the University Administration, orders of the Rector and the Regulations. It is important to note that the Council acts on the principles of self-government, openness, voluntariness and equality of all its members, and the activities of the Council members are carried out on a voluntary basis.

The activities of the Council of Young Scientists and Students are necessary for the coordination of scientific activities in various structural divisions of the university and the revival of an integral system for the search and development of talented students.

During the meeting, the latest scientific achievements of young scientists were discussed, the composition of the Council was re-approved, and a presentation plan was created for participation in the regional Council of young scientists of the Luhansk region, which will be held on April 29.
