Prize-winning place in the All-Ukrainian Competition

Anastasia Sykalo, a student of the Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences, became a prize-winner of the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Research Papers.
For many years, teachers of the Department of Ukrainian History of LTSNU have been actively involved in scientific activities. Young scientists participate in All-Ukrainian scientific conferences, seminars and competitions of scientific works. The effectiveness of work to attract students to scientific activities is confirmed by prizes at the All-Ukrainian competition of research papers.
This year was no exception. Under the scientific supervision of Olha Zabudkova, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of History of Ukraine, a number of scientific works of students-historians were prepared by: Ihor Verkhovod, Anastasia Sykalo and Maksym Honacharov, who successfully passed the I stage of the All-Ukrainian competition and were admitted to the next, second stage, which was held at the Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky Hryhoriy Skovoroda State Pedagogical University.
This year, 100 works from all over Ukraine were submitted for the competition. Based on the results of scientific reviewing, 25 works were selected, among which was the work “Provincial Nobility of Eastern Ukraine in the 19th – early 20th centuries. (On the example of the Starobilsk district of the Kharkiv province)”, prepared by a third-year student majoring in “Secondary Education. History” Anastasia Sykalo.
The next stage of the competition was to present the research results at a scientific and practical online conference. Our contestant managed to properly present her scientific research. Her efforts were marked with the third prize.
Let’s note that the current success was a repetition of last year’s, when Anastasia Sykalo also won the third place in the All-Ukrainian Competition of Research Papers.
