Ukrainian Powerlifting Championship

Students and teachers of the ER IPES took part in the Ukrainian Powerlifting Championship.

The Ukrainian Powerlifting Championship was held in Mariupol, in which students and teachers of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports took part:

• Daria Rusanenko (3rd year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports”) in the weight category up to 84 kg took the 1st place on the podium, having collected 605 kg in total. (Squat 257.5 kg; Bench Press 142.5 kg; Deadlift 205 kg.)
• Maryna Kovalova (1st year master’s student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports”) in the weight category up to 69 kg took the third place on the podium, having collected 430 kg in triathlon. (Squat 180 kg; Bench Press 85 kg; Deadlift 165 kg.)
• Volodymyr Dubovoi (lecturer at the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports) in the weight category up to 93 kg took the third place on the podium, collecting the total of 832.5 in triathlon (Squat 355 kg; Bench Press 215 kg; Deadlift 262.5 kg.)
