Days of Science at the ER IPMIT

The Department of Information Technologies and Systems and the Department of Physics and Technical Systems and Informatics held Days of Science for education applicants.
Days of Science were held for education applicants studying in the following specialties: 121 Software Engineering, 122 Computer Science, 123 Computer Engineering. According to the scientific traditions of the ER IPMIT, the Days of Science are held in the second half of April. This tradition was extended in 2021. It was the conference held online using the Zoom platform.
The event began with a minute of silence dedicated to honoring the blessed memory of the Rector of the University, outstanding scientist Serhii Viktorovych Savchenko.
At the beginning of the meeting, the head of the ITS Department Mykola Semenov (Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences) greeted the participants, briefly described the main directions of the department’s scientific activities and inspired the participants to new scientific achievements.
After that, the students presented their developments:
- Artem Zhukov (1st year master’s student majoring in software engineering). Topic: “USE OF JETPACK COMPOSE IN MULTI-MODULE ANDROID APPLICATIONSˮ. Scientific adviser: Halyna Kozub.
- Vitalii Shevchenko (1st year master’s student in software engineering). Topic: “MODERN TECHNOLOGIES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF GAME APPLICATIONS “Jack is on the Lost Island”. Scientific adviser: Halyna Kozub.
- Ilia Chebanenko (3rd year bachelor’s student majoring in computer engineering). Topic: “IMPLEMENTATION OF SOLID PRINCIPLES IN JAVA-APPLICATIONS”. Scientific adviser: Svitlana Pereiaslavska.
- Klym Skovpin (3rd year bachelor’s student majoring in software engineering). Topic: “Testing LMS MOODLE INSTALLATION WITH REMOTE ACCESS USING VPN AND VMWARE WORKSTATIONˮ. Scientific adviser: Mykola Semenov.
- Mykola Kiselov (4th year bachelor’s student majoring in software engineering). Topic: “DEVELOPMENT OF MOBILE ANDROID APPLICATION “SCHEDULE OF LESSONS”. Scientific adviser: Mykola Semenov.
- Vladyslav Krotkykh (1st year master’s student majoring in software engineering). Topic: “RESEARCH OF TYPES OF GENERATIVE-COMPETITIVE NETWORKS”. Scientific adviser: Svitlana Pereiaslavska.
- Ilia Klimenkov (1st year master’s student majoring in computer engineering). Topic: “MAIN MODERN TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT TRENDS “SMART HOUSE”. Scientific adviser: Yurii Tykhonov.
- Vitalii Krekin (2nd year bachelor’s student majoring in computer science). Topic: “FLEXIBLE DEVELOPMENT METHODOLOGY: ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES”. Scientific adviser: Olha Smahina.
- Vitalii Kuznetsov (3rd year bachelor’s student majoring in computer engineering). Topic: “CYBERSECURITY AND KINDS OF CYBERATTACKS, CYBER FLAGˮ. Scientific adviser: Mykola Semenov.
- Vitalii Shevchenko (1st year master’s student majoring in software engineering). Topic: “ANALYSIS OF APPROACHES TO RECOGNIZING TEXTUAL INFORMATION IN OCR TECHNOLOGY. Scientific advisers: Svitlana Pereiaslavska and Olha Smahina.
- Vladyslav Krotkykh (1st year master’s student majoring in software engineering). Topic: “ANALYSIS OF THE FEASIBILITY OF USING THE STYLEGAN NEURAL NETWORK
FOR GENERATION OF OBJECTS OF DIFFERENT TYPES”. Scientific adviser: Yurii Tykhonov.
During the event, everyone had the opportunity to ask questions and express their opinions on the reports.
At the end of the event, Mykola Semyonov noted the high scientific level of the reports and thanked all the participants of the Days of Science.
