The staff of the Pedagogy Department expresses sincere condolences on the death of Serhii Savchenko.

April 19 was a great loss for the entire pedagogical community of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. The teacher by vocation, a brilliant scientist, a tireless workaholic by nature, a wise and talented leader Serhii Savchenko, a Rector who he headed the university and never succumbed to difficulties, rallied the team and aimed it at moving forward in the most difficult times for the institution and our state.

Today his heart stopped beating prematurely … The disease turned out, unfortunately, stronger … Heaven is taking the best … Words are not enough to convey the sadness and pain of such a loss … It is impossible to believe that we will no longer hear his wise advice and encouraging jokes, no we will feel reliable support, we will not see a sincere look and a warm smile …

Serhii Viktorovych was a highly educated and intelligent person. His contribution to the organization and development of national education and science is invaluable, and his organizational skills, dedication to the cause were embodied in the significant achievements of one of the leading higher educational institutions in Ukraine and abroad.

In the memory of everyone who knew and worked with Serhii Viktorovych, there will always be a bright memory of him as a wonderful person, a benevolent and talented teacher and leader.

In this mournful time, the staff of the Pedagogy Department, whose mastermind and inspirer for many years was Serhii Viktorovych, shares pain and longing with the relatives and friends of his colleague, expresses sincere, deep regret over such a loss.
