Days of Science at the ER IPES

Days of Science were held at the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports. 

On April 14-15, the V All-Ukrainian Student Scientific and Practical Internet Conference “Modern Problems of Physical Education and Sports: the View of Youth”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the university, was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports within the framework of academic mobility and the Days of Science. 97 students from Ukrainian higher education institutions took part in the conference. The co-organizer of the conference was Kharkiv Humanitarian Pedagogical Academy of the Kharkiv Regional Council. The conference was held online on the Google Meet platform.

The participants were welcomed by the Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports Oleksandr Dubovoi, Head of the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Education Olena Sokolenko, Head of the Department of International Relations and Academic Mobility of Kharkiv Humanitarian Pedagogical Academy of the Kharkiv Regional Council Yuliana Domina, Head of the Department of Physical Education, Kharkiv Humanitarian Pedagogical Academy of Kharkiv Regional Council Olena Shkola.

The plenary session was opened by Olena Otravenko, Chairperson of the Scientific Commission of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports. The conference program consisted of a plenary session “Modern Problems of Physical Education and Sports: the View of Youth” and the work of the sections. The topics of the speeches were diverse and informative. Talented student youth revealed the scientific, cultural, and intellectual potential on the issues of innovations in physical education, Olympic education, the formation of professional competencies of future specialists, the peculiarities of self-education as an element of distance learning, the preservation and promotion of health, the use of fitness technologies, sports training, etc.

The work was intense, fruitful, interesting, constructive and contributed to the identification of promising areas for improving the quality of the educational process, identifying gifted youth for further scientific activity.

Based on the results, the participants receive a certificate of participation and a collection of students’ research papers “Research of Young Researchers” No. 2, 2021 will be published.

The organizing committee of the conference expresses its sincere gratitude to the applicants for higher education of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”, Kharkiv Humanitarian Pedagogical Academy of Kharkiv Regional Council, Oles Honchar Dnipro National University and their scientific advisers for well-prepared articles, reports and presentations.
