International Scientific and Practical Conference

The International Scientific and Practical Conference was held at the Department of Political Science and Law of LTSNU.
On April 8, 2021, the Department of Political Science and Law of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences held the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Armed Violence: Modern Processes of World Globalization and Their Impact on Ukraine” was held online.
The purpose of the conference was a comprehensive analysis of the main trends in the spread of armed violence in the world with a subsequent assessment of their impact on the political process in Ukraine.
The conference was held in the following thematic areas:
- The main paradigms of research into the phenomenon of armed violence and its components.
- Armed violence in the context of the global problems of our time.
- Armed violence in Ukraine: socio-political, cultural-informational, geopolitical and psychological dimension.
- Mechanisms for minimizing and countering armed violence.
Famous scientists from all over Ukraine took part in the conference: Professor Hryhorii Perepelytsia (Institute of International Relations, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv), Professor Borys Humeniuk (National Pedagogical Drahomanov University, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary), Professor Yuri Makar (Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University), Professor Antonina Shuliak (Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University), Professor Anatolii Kruglashov (Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University), Natalia Romaniuk, PhD in Geography (Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University).
A large number of people from our university took part in the conference, among whom were Professor Vitali Kurylo, Professor Yevgen Khrykov, Professor Oleksandr Naboka, Doctor of Political Sciences Anton Bader, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Olena Karaman, Candidate of Political Sciences Liudmyla Novoskoltseva.
Based on the results, the participants will receive a certificate of participation and a collection of the conference will be published.
