From April 1 to April 4, the ER IPMIT students took part in “Garage48 Empowering Youth Ukraine Online Hackathon”.

Since 2012, when Garage48 first held a hackathon in Ukraine, its participants can offer new creative solutions, persistently and tirelessly work to achieve their goals and improve the lives of themselves and those around them.

In 2021, the hackathon was exclusively online, and the working language was English. From February 5 to March 28, registration and presentation of ideas and teams were held, and from April 1 to April 4, participants took part in the so-called checkpoints, intermediate stages.

At the first stage, the presentation of teams, ideas and plans took place, then the teams worked with mentors, rehearsed pitches, took part in webinars. The hackathon ended with the teams performing live on Facebook and awarding the winners.

This year, the participants received a unique experience of team interaction, established contacts with students from other educational institutions.
