Another victory for weightlifters

Students of the ER IPES took part in the Ukrainian Championship among juniors.

The U20 Ukrainian Championship and the All-Ukrainian Open Tournament for the prizes of the Olympic champion Natalia Skakun took place in the city of Chernihiv.

The team of the Luhansk region was represented by students of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports.

Among the girls in the weight category up to 45 kg, Nadia Kurdiukova won and set a record for Ukraine under 20 and under 23 with the result of 119 kg in the combined event (49kg + 70kg).

Tetiana Budnikova (2nd year, specialty “Secondary Education. Physical Culture”) in the 49 kg weight category took the 2nd place with the result of 141 kg in the combined event. In the weight category of 76 kg, Yulia Naumchuk (1st year, PCS) took the II place with a result of 162 kg in the combined event. Anastasia Banchenko took the 6th place with the result of 153 kg in the total combined event. In the 81 kg weight category Tetiana Andriiashchenko (2nd year, PCS) took the 1st place with the result of 173 kg in the combined event.

In the overall team competition, the junior team of the Luhansk region took the 1st place.

Among men, in the 89 kg weight category, Oleg Ktitarev (1st year, PCS) took 4th place with a result of 272 kg in the combined event. Kiril Kornienko (2nd year, PCS) took the 6th place with the result of 255 kg in the total combined event.

In the overall team competition, the junior team of the Luhansk region took 6th place.
