Participation in the board meeting of Znannia Association

The chairman of the Academic Council of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in the board meeting of Znannia Association. 

Recently, a meeting of the board of the All-Ukrainian Association “Znannia” was held under the leadership of the chairman Vasyl Kusherets. The issue of implementation of the legislation of Ukraine on the functioning of the Ukrainian language as a state language was considered.
Among the meeting participants was the language ombudsman Taras Kremin. Vitalii Kurylo, a long-term board member, chairman of the Academic Council of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National  University, also took part in the discussion of the issue.
The board noted the 100-year role of the university in introducing the Ukrainian language into everyday life in the East of Ukraine and congratulated on the anniversary, donated a collection of Ukrainian books that were recently published.

The students and teaching staff of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University thanks the Znannia Association for the interesting collection of books that will be included in the library fund of the university.
