Open meeting of the scientific circle

The ER IPP held an open meeting of the scientific circle “Luch” at the Department of Special and Inclusive Education. 

On March 24, 2021, a presentation of the scientific interests of the Department of Special and Inclusive Education of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” took place.

The presentation of scientific interests took place within the framework of the meeting of the student scientific circle on correctional pedagogy and special psychology “Luch”, and was devoted to the discussion of the critical periods and conditions of the child’s development from the moment of conception, including the time of intrauterine development and the first two years of child development. The participants of the meeting were 1-3 year students majoring in “Special Education” of educational programs: “Oligophrenopedagogy. Special Psychology”, “Speech Therapy. Special Psychology”.

Event leaders: Inna Hryhorieva – head of the Department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor; Iryna Uzhchenko – PhD in Psychology, Associate Professor; Anastasia Mukhina – PhD in Psychology, Associate Professor; Natalia Seromakha – PhD in Psychology, Associate Professor; Tetiana Makhukova – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor.

Higher education applicants and students of the magistracy took an active part in organizing and holding the meeting of the scientific circle.

In the course of their work, they took part in discussions, discussed video materials revised during the presentation, dedicated to the problems of social formation of children with psychophysical development problems. The presentation of the scientific interests of the Department of Special and Inclusive Education within the framework of the meeting of the scientific circle “Luch” aroused great interest among applicants for higher education, provided an opportunity to get better acquainted with the current issues of impaired development and ways of preventive action.

During the academic year, fruitful scientific cooperation of the teachers of the department with higher education applicants majoring in “Special Education” is planned for the organization and conduct of practical research in the field of oligophrenopedagogy, special psychology, speech therapy, teaching methods in a special and inclusive model, etc.

The student scientific circle “Luch” includes sections corresponding to the main areas of scientific research:

• Correctional Pedagogy Section (academic advisers – teachers Inna Hryhorieva, Viktoria Danchak);
• Special Psychology Section (academic advisers – teachers Iryna Uzhchenko, Ella Kuksa);
• Psychological Correction Section (academic advisers – teachers Anastasia Mukhina, Natalia Seromakha);
• Speech Therapy Section (academic advisers – teachers Iryna Makarenko, Tetiana Makhukova).

The result of the work of the student scientific circle “Luch” will be the writing of scientific papers, articles, participation of applicants for higher education in scientific readings, competitions of scientific works, conferences and olympiads at regional, All-Ukrainian and international levels.
