The Department of Special and Inclusive Education of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology held a scientific and practical seminar.

On March 23, 2021, the Department of Special and Inclusive Education of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National  University” held a scientific and practical seminar “Actual Problems of Special and Inclusive Education” for students majoring in “Special Education”. The seminar was conducted by the head of the Department of Special and Inclusive Education, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Inna Hryhorieva; Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor Iryna Uzhchenko; Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Tetiana Makhukova; Candidate of Psychological Sciences Anastasia Mukhina.

The seminar contributed to the actualization of the dynamics of mental retardation, correctional and developmental work with children with autism spectrum disorders and speech therapy assistance to children with complex developmental disabilities, acquainting students with new research in the field of speech therapy, effective methods and techniques of working with children with special educational needs.
