Final of the tournament in Rubizhne

Students of the ER IPES took part in the Rubizhne Futsal Tournament.

The final games of the Rubizhne Open Futsal Tournament, which lasted for a month, took place. The teams of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports, the Rubizhne Pedagogical College named after Porai-Koshytsia (RPC), the Rubizhne Cardboard and Container Plant (RCCP) and the Legion team took part in the final games.

Our team, having taken the 1st place in its subgroup, met the Komenergo team in the play off and defeated it with a score of 6:1. In the 1/2 finals, the ER IPES met with the RPC team. The game took place in a tense atmosphere, and even fortune was on the side of the opponent, so the game ended with a score of 4:6 in favor of the RPC team.

In the struggle for the 3rd place our rival was the RCCP team. This time our players completely controlled the match and won confidently with a score of 6:2.

Our team was trained by Maksym Kovalov, a teacher of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports.

The winner of the tournament was the Legion team, which defeated the RPC players with a score of 7: 5.

At the end of the tournament, the prize-winners and winners were awarded with diplomas and medals from the Rubizhne City Council, and the players in various nominations received commemorative awards. the best player of the tournament was the footballer of our team – Yaroslav Semyvolos.
