Lecture on the Road Traffic Regulations

Before the autumn holidays LNU students had a lecture on the road traffic regulations.
The representatives of the State Automobile Inspectorate of Starobilsk Police Lieutenant Colonel Olha Oleksandrivna Khomiakova and Senior Inspector of traffic police Ihor Lialin decided to warn the youth against the terrible consequences of the accidents possible on the road.
According to media office of SAI, since the beginning of this year there were 56 road traffic accidents with pedestrians in Luhansk region including 11 deaths and 45 injured persons. 9 of those accidents were occurred due to a fault of pedestrians. Last year 31 pedestrians died and 195 were injured during road traffic accidents.
Inspectors of SAI presented information on likely risks on the roads and the importance of observing road traffic regulations providing it with convincing facts, statistics and analysis and life experience. Social video made by the pupils effectively proved the need to be careful and disciplined road user.
Also the officers of SAI demonstrated a video about law enforcement training under the conditions of ATO. Everyone knows that the police make a significant contribution to maintaining peace and security of the civilian citizens of Luhansk region. Students were proud of our law enforcements.
Such meetings form civic awareness, improve knowledge about road traffic regulations and provide patriotic education of the youth.
