Meeting of designers with a stakeholder

Students of the Design Department met with a potential employer.

On March 18, the Design Department held a meeting of the first-fourth year students  with a potential employer.

The director of the advertising agency “AS” Oleksandr Samoilenko was invited to the meeting. Oleksandr shared with the students his experience of professional development and career growth in promoting his own advertising business in Starobilsk, focused on key trends in the development of advertising design and the peculiarities of cooperation and interaction with customers.

He described the requirements that employers make to a modern graphic design specialist, and provided recommendations on the possibilities of their formation and improvement in professional design activities.

The meeting participants discussed about existing job search platforms, and how the potential employer Oleksandr told future designers by what criteria he recruits employees.

They exchanged views with the teaching staff and the guarantor of the educational program Iryna Prodan on the structure of the educational program“Graphic Design”, filling the content of educational components, a list of professional competencies and programmatic learning outcomes that are important and necessary in the labor market.
