EU Study Days

This week, the Faculty of Foreign Languages joined the online modules EU Study Days in Ukraine from the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine.
Deputy Dean of Social and Humanitarian Affairs Shkarlet Valeria Oleksandrivna passed two stages of selection, which included a questionnaire and an online test of knowledge on European issues, as well as an online interview to test English proficiency. Becoming the winner of the selection Scarlett V.O. has the opportunity to visit the following training modules: “Ukraine-EU relations”, “Prevention of misinformation / fight against fakes”, “Digitalization: EU policy, cybersecurity, digital rights”, “European values and identity”, “Green course and environmental transformation”, “Regional Development, Local Government Reform and Decentralization”, “Eastern Partnership”, “EU Response to Conflict”, “Career Building in the EU: Skills and Opportunities”, “Information and Communication Policies”.
The project is designed for those who share European values, seek to learn more about the European Union, as well as for those who have their own ideas and are looking for opportunities to implement them with like-minded people. While studying at the Euroschool, you have the opportunity to meet with leading speakers: diplomats and experts from the EU and Ukraine. The format of the training modules includes lectures, discussions, live communication, which will allow the winners to significantly improve their knowledge of the European Union and its cooperation with Ukraine.
Scarlett V.O. prepares its own mini-project aimed at promoting community interests, ideas of European integration, communication, prevention of misinformation, etc. This mini-project will be implemented jointly with representatives of EU Networks (Euroclubs, EU information centers, experts from Team Europe Ukraine, graduates of EU Study Days, Erasmus +, College of Europe). The experience of participating in this project will contribute to a successful research, as Valeria Alexandrovna is studying in graduate school in the specialty 015 Vocational Education (by specializations), which will contribute to the formation of multicultural value orientations of future foreign language teachers in the process of professional training.
EU Study Days in Ukraine is an educational project of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, launched in 2013. The network of graduates already numbers more than 1,400 people. For the Foreign Languages Department, such an event aims to develop a network of teachers who are interested in European integration and jointly implement their own initiatives in various fields. EU Study Days helps to find like-minded people who see the development of Ukraine as a European country, in turn for the Department helps to comprehensively develop our specialists.
