Opening of a public reception

The opening of a public reception at the ER ICSTT on consumer rights issues took place.
On March 15, World Consumer Rights Day, higher education applicants and academic staff of the Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism joined the global consumer protection community and raised their awareness by participating in global events under the slogan of Consumers International in 2021 – “Tackling Plastic Pollution” #WorldConsumerRightsDay #NoPlasticPollution #SustainableConsumer.
Applicants for the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education, specialty 076 “Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Activities” of the educational program “Commodity Science and Expertise in Customs” of the ER ICSTT made the following reports to those present at the general meeting of Institute:
- World Consumer Rights Day. Historical Aspect. (Speaker – Evgenii Pasmurskykh, 1st year applicant for education);
- Consumers International (Speaker – Oleksandr Kharchenko, 1st year applicant for education);
- The motto of the World Consumer Rights Day (Speaker – Daria Solovieva, 2nd year applicant for education);
- World Consumer Rights Day 2021 Photo Action (Speaker – Yulia Solonar, 4th year applicant for education).
Natalia Omelchenko (Professor of the Department of Commodity Research, Commercial Business and Goods Expertise, the ER ICSTT, Chairman and Chief Expert of the Scientific Research Center “Independent Expertise”, Ph.D., Professor) brought to the attention of those present information about the implementation of the joint project of the ER ICSTT and the Research Center “Independent Expertise ”- Public reception of the ER ICSTT on consumer rights issues. Applicants for higher education present at the meeting were invited to participate in the social project.
At the same time, Natalia Omelchenko additionally informed the higher education applicants about the main directions of the activities of the Research Center “Independent Expertise”. She focused on the competitive advantages and created unique conditions for students during training, as part of the project with Research Center “Independent Expertise”.
