Participation in the Hearings

The Chairman of the Academic Council of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in the Hearings of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Education, Science and Innovation.

On March 11, Hearings were held at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Education, Science and Innovation on the topic: “The Year of Accreditation of Educational Programs under the New Procedure: Results, Problems, Prospects”. In order to openly discuss this topic, representatives of the parliamentary corps of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science, the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, universities and the expert community attended the Hearings. The representative from our higher educational institution was the chairman of the Academic Council Vitalii Kurylo.

During the event, an interested exchange of critical opinions took place, and further prospects for improving the accreditation procedure for educational programs were considered.
