ONLINE-LECTURES OF PROFESSOR FROM GERMANY

The Department of Algebra and System Analysis invites PhD students, undergraduates, students of mathematical specialties, teachers and anyone interested in mathematics, to listen an open lectures cycle of a famous scientist-algebraist from Potsdam University, Germany and Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia, Bulgaria, PD Dr. Jörg Koppitz.
The topic of lectures: “Semigroups of Transformations on Finite and Infinite Sets“. During online-lectures, several classical semigroups of transformations will be considered. The concept of semigroups of transformations with restricted range will be illustrated. Classical results in the Theory of Transformation Semigroups will be presented.
The lectures will be held on March 16-18, 2021 by means
of the ZOOM online-platform.
