Round table with educators of Luhansk region

Based on ES IPMIT within the project “Modernization of pedagogical higher education using innovative teaching tools” (MoPED) a round table “Prospects for the development of the ecosystem of the MOPED project” was held.

Based on ES IPMIT within the project “Modernization of pedagogical higher education using innovative teaching tools” (MoPED) of the EU program Erasmus + KA2 – Development of higher education potential, № 586098-EPP-1-2017-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP  On March 3, 2021, a round table “Prospects for the development of the ecosystem of the MOPED project” was held.

The round table was held in a mixed format, the project manager from LTSNU Hennadii  Mohylnyi, the director of the Luhansk Small Academy of Sciences Olena Bardash, the deputy director of the Regional Center for Vocational Education Yulia Maslikova were offline in ICR  were in touch with the help of modern information technologies, they were representatives of Rubizhne Secondary School № 9 and other educators who were interested in the event.

Hennadii  Mohylnyi started the exchange of views, who briefly informed about the main tasks and the already obtained results of the project for each of the work packages.

Particular attention was paid to ICR and the possibility of its use to improve the system of training and retraining of highly qualified teachers at the regional level; promoting STEAM training, involving school teachers in cooperation and intensifying innovative pedagogical activities in the region; creation of a new innovative educational center in the Luhansk region.

Then Matiievskyi Volodymyr conducted a virtual tour of the ICR zones: the creative training zone (ICR1) contains multimedia equipment, computer gadgets, furniture-transformers.  All this together allows you to design different types of group and individual learning activities;  3d-modeling area (ICR2) contains basic and auxiliary equipment for practical implementation of projects in the field of 3D-modeling, additional calculation works;  the zone of engineering creativity and robotics (ICR3) is intended for practical work with works and other educational equipment which is intended for engineering creativity.

After that, an exchange of views began: educators expressed interest in using ICR as a center for modernization of education in Luhansk region, offered their proposals on the use of ICR and the development of the ecosystem of the MOPED project.

In his concluding remarks, Mykola Semenov, Head of the ITS Department and a member of the project team, focused on the prospects for the development of the ecosystem of the MOPED project, emphasizing the accessibility of ICR use by all educators in Luhansk region.

According to the results of the discussion, all participants expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation in the field of modernization of pedagogical education in Luhansk region and Ukraine.
