On March 1, 2021, the exhibition of scientific achievements of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology dedicated to the 100th anniversary of LTSNU took place at the university.

On the anniversary of LTSNU, the administration, directors, deans, heads of departments, representatives of various departments, young scientists gathered in the library of our Alma Mater to celebrate the holiday with the scientific achievements of teachers and students of the ER IPP.

The event was opened by the acting director of the library M. Pochinkova.

Chairman of the Academic Council of the University Vitalii Kurylo and Rector of the University Serhii Savchenko addressed the audience with welcoming words.

The organizer of the exhibition Olena Karaman in her address to the visitors noted that science is the kind of university activity that distinguishes it from other educational institutions – preschool, general secondary, vocational, professional before higher. Without science, there is no university, and therefore scientific activity and related to it improving the quality of the staff and international activities are priority areas of development of the Institute Pedagogy and Psychology.

In 2014, the institute suffered significant losses: 6 doctors of sciences went to work in other HEIs, another 1 doctor A.N. Chizh was mortally wounded and passed away, 6 candidates of sciences also moved to other HEIs.

Thanks to the intensification of our scientists’ work and the restoration of specialized councils for six years at the institute, 3 doctoral dissertations were defended (V.V. Kizilova, S.O.Bader, V.I. Stepanenko), another 1 doctoral dissertation will be defended on March 16 (M.M. Pochinkova). Also, 13 candidates of sciences were trained. So, 13 scientists were lost, and 17 were trained. And so far the quality of the staff of the institute is 86%, which exceeds the pre-war indicators.

All the scientific and international activities of the institute were reflected within six locations, each of which was presented by young scientists of the ER IPP, have already taken their first steps into science: 1. Monographs, teaching aids, dictionaries, textbooks. 2. Scientific professional journals of Ukraine. Collections of scientific papers. 3. Student science. 4. Certificates. 5. Awards for scientific work. 6. Cooperation with NAES of Ukraine.

Olena Leonidivna invited visitors of the exhibition to a small excursion and told about the activities of the ER IPP in all areas of scientific and international activities.

For 6 years the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology:

The last location – “NAES of Ukraine – Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” – was presented by Olena Karaman. She noted that the AES of Ukraine has been a reliable partner of the university since 1997. The Academy is one of the first to support our university during the tragic time of war and displacement in Starobilsk. Unforgettable is the visiting meeting of the Presidium of the NAES of Ukraine headed by President V.G. Kremen on the Defender of Ukraine Day 2018, which caused a great resonance throughout Ukraine. Also, a powerful support is the annual receipt of scientific, educational and educational-methodical literature from the NAES of Ukraine for the Day of the Education Worker, the number of which today is more than 2000 copies.

So, the friendship and cooperation of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the NAES of Ukraine continues and strengthens. And in honor of the 100th anniversary of the NAES of Ukraine on the initiative of the President V.G. Kremen and Academician-Secretary of the Department of General Pedagogy and Philosophy of Education S.A. Sysoeva made a gift – she sent more than 200 copies of scientific, educational and educational-methodical literature to support educational process at the university. Also, a memorable address and a telegram with congratulations and sincere wishes for further development and stability in upholding national ideas in the face of external challenges were sent to the university staff, which Olena Karaman transferred to Vitalii Kurylo and Serhii Savchenko for safekeeping. After that, the visitors received a surprise – a festive interview with V.Kremen on the university’s Internet radio channel.

The exhibitions are highlighted in a video report on the university YouTube channel:

This concludes the tour of the exhibition. The organizers thanked everyone for their interest in the exhibition. Vitalii Kurylo and Serhii Savchenko expressed their gratitude to the team of teachers and students of the ER IPP for the high scientific results that support the positive image of the university in Ukraine, and the training of young scientists – the future of the university.

Happy anniversary, dear Alma Mater! We wish you development, prosperity, glory, new victories, eternal life!!!
