Jubilee congratulations

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University received jubilee congratulations from the colleagues from all over Ukraine.

On March 1, 2021, our higher educational institution celebrated its 100th anniversary. Given the quarantine conditions, students and staff of LTSNU could not celebrate it in the traditional mode, so online congratulations became an alternative.

Vasyl Kremen, President of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, was one of the first to congratulate Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. He is proud that “the university has not only withstood, but also showed an example of courage, invincibility, devotion and love for Ukraine … ˮ. I expressed great respect to the head of the Academic Council Vitalii Kurylo, and to the Rector Serhii Savchenko, for the fact that they were able not only to save the university in 2014, but also to keep its status at the Ukrainian and world levels.

I cordially congratulated our higher educational institution and the State Archives of the Luhansk region. On the occasion of this holiday, specialists from the State Archives prepared an online documentary exhibition that presents the entire century-old history of our university. Photo materials are presented in the following categories: Documents of the State Archives and archival institutions of the Luhansk region; Archive Department of the Starobilsk District State Administration, Documents of the Starobilsk Teachers’ Institute; Documents of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Department of Document Management, LTSNU; Documents of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Press Center, as well as a video presentation “100 Years: History and Achievements”. Warm words of congratulations were expressed by such honorable people as the head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration – the Presidium of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, the Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language Taras Kremin; the head of the Military-Civil Administration Serhii Gaidai; the acting head of the Starobilsk District State Administration Vitalii Kononov.

Colleagues from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Donetsk Regional Specialized College of Sports named after S. Bubka, information resource “06452.com.ua” and the information and analytical Internet publication – ostrovok.lg.ua congratulated the university.
