Training for economists

Students of the ER IEB participated in the online training for economists.

At the initiative of the Career Development Center, students of the Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business took part in the online training for young people “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Career in Banking”. The organizers are the Career Hub and the Center for Development of Corporate Social Responsibility within the framework of the program “Dream and Act”, which is funded by USAID Ukraine – USAID Ukraine and is being implemented by IREX in Ukraine together with the KSV Development Center.

So, those present learned how to determine their abilities and strengths, how to start a career in the leading banks of Ukraine, learned to deal with career directions in the banking sector, to choose the profession of their dreams.

The event was held in the form of a conversation. Experts from the leading banks of Ukraine happily communicated with the participants: FUIB, Alfa-Bank, UKRSIBBANK, KredoBank, Raiffeisen Bank Aval and PrivatBank. They analyzed in detail the work of the participants in three areas: work with clients, financial analytics, development of IT solutions and cyber security. After that, they talked about employment opportunities and practical training at their banks. According to them, the main habits of a competent specialist are the ability to plan time, self-organization of oneself, the ability to analyze information and strive to develop their soft skills.
