Meeting with the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Ukraine

Chairman of the Academic Council of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Ukraine.

On February 24, 2021, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Ukraine Toyly Atayev met at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine with Vitalii Kurylo, Chairman of the Academic Council of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

During a friendly conversation, the parties exchanged views on education issues in Ukraine and Turkmenistan. A number of issues on training students from Turkmenistan at our university, ways of further expanding the training of specialists for Turkmenistan were discussed.

Vitalii Kurylo presented Toyly Atayev with a book dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the university and invited the Ambassador to the celebration. In response, the Ambassador presented the university with a book on Turkmenistan in Ukrainian. The parties agreed on further consultations and meetings.
