Results of the creative competition

The Faculty of Foreign Languages announced the results of the creative competition “Poetic Pearl”.
The Faculty of Foreign Languages announced the results of the creative competition “Poetic Pearl” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” and the International Day of the Mother Language.
The organizer of the competition is V.A. Shkarlet, Deputy Dean for Social and Humanitarian Work highlighted the idea of students writing poetry in their native language, because the relevance of the Ukrainian language spreads every day. The purpose of the competition was to reveal the creative side of student talents, thus join the celebration of the university’s anniversary and devote his creativity to this particular event. 16 participants of different specialties of the Foreign Languages Department, as well as the Educational and Scientific Institute of Culture and Arts, registered to participate. The participants shared their poems on various topics – from lyrics to patriotic poems. It is impossible to choose the best of the best, so it was decided to make an online voting on the Instagram network on the official page of the Department fim_lnu.
The 1st place was received by the 2nd year student of the specialty «Secondary education. Language and Literature (German, English)», Ksenia Ladyka. The patriotic poem «Love and Know Your Homeland» so alarmingly and emotionally called everyone to respect and protect the land of the Luhansk region.
The 2nd place was taken by a 2nd year student of the specialty «Secondary education. Language and Literature (Spanish, English)», Valeria Likhacheva. Lyrical lines with notes of sincere promises, support and kindness got many readers’ likes.
The 3rd place was taken by a 3rd year student of the specialty «Secondary education. Language and Literature (German, English)», Alexandra Govorova. The poem «I am a student» did not go unnoticed by readers, «a cry from the heart», as well as a huge responsibility in student life, a step into the future and a storm of emotions collected a sufficient number of likes. The Foreign Languages Department is proud of the talent of each of the contestants, because their work is so diverse, emotional, warm, touched the soul of all readers. Each of the participants is a creator of a word, an author and even a writer. Never stop on your creative path, we wish you inspiration and new achievements.
