An event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko National University of Luhansk.
In February 2021, the event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of our favorite university was held at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Physical Education and Sports, the Faculty of Foreign Languages and the Educational and Scientific Institute of Economics and Business. The agenda was as follows: presentation of Fedicheva N.V. “History, present and symbols of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” and a quiz on history of our university.
The presentation and quiz were conducted in English. They were preceded by the work of students with English texts and discussion of interesting facts about the university in the classes “Foreign language for professional communication” and “Culture of communication”. Students were offered the following tasks: find information about the history of our university in English on the university website and read it carefully; prepare a short oral presentation in English about our university.
The quiz included questions about the history of the university, its symbols and achievements. Students prepared detailed answers to all questions. We offer this quiz for everyone. Try to answer the following questions:
