Online Open Day

The university hosted the Online Open Day.

Today, 20 February 2021, our higher educational institution held the Online Open Day. Once again, applicants had the opportunity to communicate with the university administration, the executive secretary of the admission committee, directors and deputy deans, teachers of structural subdivisions.

At the beginning of the conference, the Rector of the University Serhii Savchenko addressed all those present with a welcoming speech. He noted that meetings with applicants are in demand and help them learn about the opportunities that the university can provide.

The executive secretary of the Admission Committee Alina Beshkynska spoke in detail about the admission campaign-2021. Among the highlights, she noted that registration for the external independent evaluation has already begun. Now All-Ukrainian Olympiads in biology, geography, mathematics and chemistry are held on the basis of our university, participation in which gives an opportunity to get additional points for admission.

This year, our university established preparatory courses for the external independent evaluation and the state final certification for applicants from the temporarily occupied territories. The Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Dmytro Uzhchenko spoke about the features of these preparatory courses. Thus, the applicants learned that this is part of a pilot project. Registration for them has already begun. The courses will start functioning on March 1.

The head of the educational centers “Donbas – Ukraine” and “Crimea – Ukraine” Svitlana Kharkivska provided full information about the admission of applicants living on the contact line and temporarily occupied territories.

The Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Oleksandr Babichev joined the conversation, telling the applicants about the infrastructure, extracurricular activities, living conditions in dormitories.

Additional information was posted in the chat, which will be useful to future students. There they posted price lists with a list of specialties and a list of certificates that are necessary for admission; advertising of master classes in foreign languages; contacts of structural divisions; information on free internship abroad in Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Thailand.

It is worth noting that the Open Day was in a mixed format today, because at the same time as the online meeting, representatives of the Admissions Committee consulted applicants in real time in compliance with all quarantine measures.

Online Open Day is a traditional event at our university. Thanks to these meetings, dozens of applicants have already received answers to all questions about their personal admission.
