Master classes for future educators
19.2.2021
The Department of Pedagogy held several master classes for the future educators, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the university.
The realities and challenges of today pose new challenges for the educational system in general, and for the New Ukrainian School in particular. A teacher of the NUS must be able to create favorable conditions for the development of the creative potential of schoolchildren, to organize the educational process on the basis of individualization, taking into account the latest educational innovations. First of all, a modern teacher is a researcher who has the skills to carry out a scientific analysis of current educational problems, who, on its basis, introduces pedagogical innovation into the professionally organized process of socialization of student youth, taking into account their needs and interests and in accordance with the requirements of society and the sociocultural situation of development.
In order to prepare applicants for higher education in pedagogical specialties to conduct scientific research in their future professional activities and to form their research competence as a prerequisite for the professional training of a teacher of the NUS and in order to activate students for independent scientific research work, the Department of Pedagogy initiated and conducted a series of master classes “I am a young scientist of LTSNU”.
During the events, students learned about the current pedagogical problems and the principles of a scientific approach to their solution; improvement of educational skills in working with literary pedagogical primary sources; formation of new knowledge and skills on the issues of scientific research; development of skills and abilities of using research methods to solve practical educational problems.
Students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the novelties of pedagogical literature and practice in creating information bases in the form of QR-codes, to work out the practical application of modern methods of studying the personality of a student and a class, shared their own development of questionnaires, focused on studying various aspects of the modern educational process of the NUS.
Undoubtedly, the knowledge gained will be useful for students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University in organizing independent scientific work, will motivate them to research activities, develop independent thinking, form the foundations of scientific integrity, and develop creative potential.
